We started with a 68 Dodge Charger. We Back halfed the car & it still
has stock k-member. We use super stock springs for a 2900# car
and a 8 3/4 mopar rear end with Moser 40 spline axles,
Richmond 4.30 with a 10 spline pinon. The trans is a 727 built
by us with a 5500 stall converter. A MONSTER ENGINE,
1050 dom. MSD - 6AL box , Billet Dis., Pro Gear timing chain,
All of Hughes Engine Mod. All of it is working so well! The first pass
out it ran 11.45 at 115 MPH. The second pass was 10.45 at
131 MPH. We could not be more happy with Hughes Engines and
would like to thank everyone at the shop for all you guys have
done for us. We will send more pictures when we go back to the
track. We love showing off all the great job done by Hughes.
