Costanzo, Charlie 1978 Dodge PowerWagon | 9/12/2011 |
I purchased parts for my 1978 Power Wagon 400BB from you guys awhile back and I wanted to drop you a line.
Just wanted to tell you guys I am really happy with the purchase and please feel free to print a copy of my motor and truck and pin it up on your "satisfied customer" wall:)
The cam I got was the HMC1919BL with the 5001 lifters. I had to do a little fabbing to the billet rocker shafts since I am running the Ductile iron max wedge rockers. My motor has power mostly as you guys described, and then some! It pulled on the dyno all the way up to 6000 and was at its peak @ 5600. 421HP @ 5600 and peak torque 435ft. lbs. @ 4750!
One thing that I noticed with this cam is that it is strong as an ox, and pulls my 5000 Lb. Power Wagon with full time 4WD like a screaming banshee.
Cheers,
~Charles
